Vicki Welter founded Welter Consulting to help nonprofits – it’s her passion and the reason she continues to develop her expertise.  Organizations hire Welter Consulting for assistance in selecting and implementing software solutions so they can focus more resources on the programs and services they provide to serve their constituents and communities.  Vicki’s rich background in accounting allows her to assist in setting up nonprofit financial software to meet her nonprofit clients’ financial reporting needs.  She has implemented more the 200 nonprofit systems.  Vicki Welter has earned three distinctions from nonprofit software publisher MIP: Authorized Partner, Certified Trainer, and Certified Consultant.

A natural teacher, Vicki Welter offers training classes to help nonprofit professionals become proficient in utilizing software and technology to its’ fullest, improving efficiency and conserving resources for the fulfillment of the organization’s mission.

Vicki Welter also consults in the areas of internal control & related documentation, and in the preparation of financial statements, financial analyses and supporting schedules of financial data for audit and tax purposes. ISO-9001 certified, Vicki uses that tool to help organizations streamline and document their procedures.

Before founding her own firm Welter Consulting LLC, Vicki held positions as Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, Consultant and Trainer. Based in Seattle, Welter Consulting serves nonprofits throughout the Pacific Northwest and is a member of Washington Nonprofits (association), AICPA, and the Washington Society of CPAs.  Vicki holds a degree from Gonzaga University in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting.  Her passionate, hands-on support stems from her philosophy of close collaboration to achieve powerful, individualized solutions for her nonprofit partners.
